New Bernhard Schlink book comes from unlikely source
Bernhard Schlink’s "The Reader" was the hit of the 1994 Frankfurt Book Fair. At this year's fair, there is a new book by Schlink being offered. It’s a powerful work of nonfiction called "Guilt about the Past" - and it is coming from an unlikely source.

Catalan literature: one year later
Catalan Culture was last year's Guest of Honour at the Fair and put on a huge display of Catalan literature to help make people aware of their rich literary tradition. It was pretty successful and it seems that this positive effect has carried over quite well.
