"While you were sleeping" ran the motto of our Guest of Honour New Zealand. From their songs to their haka, they gave us an impressive range of colourful performances, encompassing the traditional and the modern. Once again, the industry was internationally and cross-medially well-represented. The entire spectrum, from paperbacks to merchandising, furnished trade and private visitors alike with inspiration and with insights into familiar things as well as new ideas. Behind the scenes, stand constructors, electricians and service staff worked hard to ensure we all enjoyed a smooth Book Fair experience. We've put together a few photographic impressions for you.
