Weltempfang (“hosting the world”) offers translators an ideal centre for exchange and networking with business partners and colleagues at the Frankfurt Book Fair. It’s also worth taking a peek inside the Frankfurt Who's Who. We have put together a few tips specially for translators to prepare for your visit to the Frankfurt Book Fair.

Weltempfang - the name (“hosting the world”) says it all for the new centre.

In the Weltempfang, there will be readings and discussion events with international authors, intellectuals and translators. In 2011 the focus will be on the topics "migration" and "social media".

Weltempfang, located in hall 5.0, D963 includes a large stage for events with a big public appeal. It also has a Salon for special interest discussions and literary encounters. The section is rounded off with a café area to be used for further discussion, as somewhere to arrange to meet, or just for relaxation.
