Set-up
The exhibition halls are open for set-up of customer-built stands and fitting-out of system stands as of Sunday, 11 October 2009.
Access to the exhibition site during the below mentioned set-up times is possible for exhibitors and those in charge of set-up by means of the set-up & breakdown that are sent out with Service Set 2. Furthermore, exhibitor passes allow access to the exhibition site as from 13 October 2009.
Set-up times
Sunday, 11 October 7.00 a.m. - 9.00 p.m.
Monday, 12 October 7.00 a.m. - 10.00 p.m.
Tuesday, 13 October 7.00 a.m. - 10.00 p.m.
Delivery of exhibit items at the stand by a freight forwarding agency, a courier service or the regular postal service is possible during the above mentioned times. Please discuss with the company that you employ directly when your packages should be delivered, i.e. when you are at your stand to receive them and sign for receipt.
Set-up and fitting-out of the stand must be completed by 10.00 p.m. at the latest on the day before the beginning of the fair and halls must be cleared of items not included on the stand. All persons must have left the halls by midnight on 13 October, as the police will then begin their security check.
Early stand set-up
Early stand set-up prior to Sunday, 11 October, is subject to a flat fee of 750 euros and is only allowed for exhibitors with custom-designed stands of 40 sqm or more who have obtained special authorisation in writing from the Frankfurt Book Fair.
