Visitors from many countries require a visa in order to enter Germany.
A current list of all countries subject to visa requirements as well as those for which no visa is necessary can be viewed.
The Frankfurt Book Fair’s Visa Service sends personal invitations to exhibitors and trade visitors from countries with a visa requirement. You can use this invitation to apply at the relevant embassy or consulate general for a visa for your stay in Germany during the Book Fair.
This invitation can make the application process easier, but it cannot guarantee that you will be given a visa. The final decision for rejection or issue of a visa is taken by the relevant embassy.
