Stress-free accreditation as a journalist for the Frankfurt Book Fair

New registration step-by-step

  • Step 1:
Please click "Registration" on the upper right and complete your "Personal Data" and your "Profile" in full on the online form. You complete your registration by clicking on "Send". As soon as your data have reached us, you will receive confirmation by e-mail. You will also receive an e-mail with an activation link which you are requested to use for confirmation. This enables verification of the email address provided on registration.

Your accreditation is not yet complete at this stage, however.
  • Step 2:
If you have not submitted current proof of your activities as a journalist together with your registration form, please refer to the contact information left and send this to us by e-mail or fax.

Your data can only be processed when we have received the proof of your activities as a journalist.

We have put together a list of all the types of proof which are acceptable to us as a pdf-document for you to download.
  • Step 3:
As soon as we have released this proof, you will automatically be sent an e-mail confirmation with your personal access data. This might take up to two weeks.

Your accreditation has then been successfully completed.

PLEASE NOTE

Since we have a great deal of data to process, we cannot send you personal confirmation that we have in fact received proof of your activities as a journalist. You have no need to worry about this and we ask that you refrain from follow-up enquiries in this regard.

Have you already been accredited?

If you were accredited last year, please log on with your unique personalized e-mail address (User ID) and password.

Your online press pass

The online press pass can be printed out without any difficulty using any printer. The online press pass with the status as accredited journalist is your admission ticket for the entire Fair. It is personalised and includes a bar code that will be registered on entering the Fair. This means that only one person has access to the Frankfurt Book Fair with this pass which is not transferable.

If you have left your online press pass at home on any day of the Fair, you can simply print it out again at any time.

Please note that the online press pass is not valid for use of the RMV local public transport system.

Services that are available to you all year round

When you register, you can also state whether your data are to be made visible in the Frankfurt Who´s Who, the directory of persons of the Frankfurt Book Fair. All you have to do is activate the appropriate button.

YOUR GAIN:

Exhibitors, trade visitors and colleagues can search through the Frankfurt Who´s Who and contact you if appropriate.

If you want to search the Frankfurt Who´s Who yourself, you need only log on with your email address (User ID) and password.

If you tick your key areas of interest when you register, we will send you weekly e-mails with the relevant press releases.
