- Guest of Honour
The Frankfurt Book Fair is not just about books as merchandise, but also seeks to serve cultural interchange across national borders. With this in mind, every year it gives a Guest of Honour the opportunity to introduce itself in all its cultural diversity, both during and after the Book Fair. - Education
Education is not just a growth market for the book and media industry. Given the high rates of illliteracy in many countries, it is also an important social-political issue. - Other key focuses
Alongside education, many other key focuses find their place in the Frankfurt Book Fair’s programme, such as fiction, audiobooks and translation.
