Books on Catalan Culture

Every year since 1988, the Frankfurt Book Fair has organised an international book exhibition in which numerous publishing companies from all over the world present their titles relating to the respective Guest of Honour.

With its 1,057 works, the exhibition “Books on Catalan Culture” was very popular with both trade visitors and the general public.

Appealingly integrated into the Guest of Honour presentation in the Forum, Level 1, the book exhibition gave visitors an opportunity to browse through books that have been published around the world on the subject of Catalan culture.

345 publishing companies in 27 countries had contributed their titles in response to the Frankfurt Book Fair’s invitation. As well as many translations of works originally by Catalan authors, non-fiction titles on widely differing aspects of Catalan culture were on show, as well as travel guides, dictionaries and language textbooks.
