Programme information
Booksellers
The International Booksellers-Programme provides attendees with an insight into the German book trade. It examines the way it functions and its structures, thus enabling them to trade efficiently in German books. In this way, the event promotes dialogue and helps to create a network.
The programme includes attendance at the Frankfurt Book Fair, visits to bookshops and publishing companies, one and a half days of practical training in a bookshop, a visit to an intermediate book trade business, to an important library and cultural activities.
All the professionally related visits will be explained and expanded on by talks given on site or during the seminar. Time is allowed for indepth exchanges of experience between participants, speakers and organisers.
